His distinguished journey began with the honor of being the first Indian awarded the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain’s Graduate Imaging Scientist (GIS ARPS) qualification. Building on this achievement, he spearheaded the creation of Asia’s first Bachelor of Science program in Medical and Scientific Photography at PGIMER Chandigarh, underscoring his commitment to education and innovation in visual communication in medicine.
As a global health photographer and visual information specialist, Kaushik collaborates with both government and non-government organizations to document significant strides in global health. His work explores the intricate relationship between public health, climate change, and elementary education, resulting in impactful coffee-table books that highlight India’s public health initiatives, such as vaccination campaigns against diseases like Rota virus, pneumonia, and COVID-19.
